Although Kenny Glasgow has been involved in music for almost 20 years, he only just recorded his debut album “Taste for the Low Life.” Maybe he was just too busy organizing and promoting parties in Toronto, his hometown, spinning vinyl all around the globe alongside icons like Jeff Mills, Carl Cox, Green Velvet, Hell, Sven Väth, Dave Clark and Laurent Garnier and releasing 12”s on Jinxx Records, Turbo or Family Recordings.
These days, the veteran DJ is slated to release a full length album of eight cutting-edge tracks on May 18. Although Glasgow’s artist album contains disco and electro elements, it lies between deep house and techno and comfortably encapsulates two decades of experience.
